This is a neat blow-up couch reclining chair thing. You can use it in water or on land (at home), although they give a warning that the opening end might not be waterproof (I'm sure it would be fine). It's shaped like a folded over tube and you rest between the two sides putting your head at the fold, but really, you can sit/lay in it however you like. Make sure it's not upside down or you will slide in between the tubes (crack!). The fabric feels durable and smooth like a tent. It's waterproof. It does collect static and attract some pet hair/human hair etc.
It's not too hard to blow up once you get the hang of it. It took me less than 5 minutes to figure out. You basically open one tube and pull it across in front of you to get air in and then close the end really quickly. Then you repeat with the other side. You might have to do several sweeps to get it full enough. Then you roll the ends up really tightly and buckle closed. This keeps the air in. If you don't inflate it enough or roll it tight enough, you will end up sitting on the floor with the tubes on either side of you. If you do it well enough, it's nice and comfy. As you lay on it, it will deflate, but very slowly. So you can get several hours out of one fill before you might want to top it off again.
I ordered the red color and it looks like a bright reddish orange. Almost like clown red. I think the sofa is comfortable enough to sit and lay on. It kind of feels like laying in a hammock and kind of feels like a bouncy house. My husband finds it less comfortable than I do, and he prefers to lay with his head at the "feet" of the sofa. We keep ours to use as extra seating for movie night at home. It can hold up to 450 lbs, so my husband and I can sit on it together. It stores very small in a little bag and is very lightweight, so it's easy to carry with you and store. I received this item at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest review.
