This is a rubber mat meant to go on top of your car to prevent scratching from a cargo bag. The mat is dark grey in color and made up of a bunch of rubber dots webbed together (You can see through the gaps, but they are small so you will still be well protected). It looks and feels like the rubber matting stuff you put under your carpet to keep it from sliding around on your floor or in your silverware drawer (but thicker).
The mat is flexible and flat. You can store it folded up or rolled and it won't tear or anything. The mat measures 36 inches wide and 39 inches long. It's easy to use/install/uninstall. You basically just lay it out and smooth it before putting on your cargo bag. It really is non-slip and ads another layer of protection due to layer of rubber.
