This is a digital kitchen scale. It looks nice and is very easy to use. It takes two AAA batteries (included), which is nice that you don't have to go get a special battery for it, although they are not name brand batteries, so who knows how long they will last. It's a great size, small enough to store easily, but large enough to be actually useful in weighing things. You can weigh up to 11 lbs and you can change measurements as you prefer (the buttons are easy to navigate) between lbs oz, grams, mL, etc. It can measure small increments of 1 gram or .1 oz.
Using the scale is easy and feels intuitive. You can set it to zero after placing a bowl or plate on it to make measuring easier as well. It's easy to clean after use. The tray is plastic (looks like textured metal), so it's easy to wipe clean. There is a button for powering on/off so you don't have to worry about wasting the battery. The buttons also click when you push them so you know it's registering what you're doing. I received this item for free in exchange for my honest review. #CF019
